Mom's Jewelry
My mother's jewelry is a link to her school teaching career. First grade teachers, back in the 60's, seemed to get sparkle pins for Christmas (yes, that is what they called it back then). Although I have no evidence of who really gave her what, I like to think of the sparkles as part of her personality that I can wear since her death.
I love looking through my mom's jewelry. Your mom's pins are very pretty. I especially like the "sparkly" blue dragon(?)fly. Makes me want to go fishing.
